About the Role
We’re seeking a Lead Accessibility Specialist to help guide digital accessibility and ADA compliance initiatives. This role involves overseeing accessibility reviews, mentoring junior team members, and ensuring that digital content and documentation meet established accessibility standards.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of hands-on experience in accessibility, ADA compliance, or related areas such as technical writing, document remediation, or digital content management. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to take the next step into a leadership position while contributing to meaningful, inclusive work.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate accessibility review and remediation efforts across multiple projects.
Provide guidance and mentorship to a small team of analysts.
Conduct advanced accessibility testing and validation of digital documents and web content.
Utilize accessibility tools such as Allyant CommonLook, WAVE, ANDI, Accessibility Insights, Color Contrast Analyzer, NVDA, and PDF Accessibility Checker to identify and resolve issues.
Review and edit accessibility reports and documentation for clarity and accuracy.
Ensure all deliverables meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA and ADA Section 508 standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote accessibility best practices and continuous improvement.

Qualifications
1–3 years of experience in accessibility, ADA compliance, or a related field (e.g., technical editing, writing, or document remediation).
Working knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1, ADA, Section 508).
Excellent written communication and technical editing skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Experience leading or mentoring others is a plus.
Highly organized, analytical, and self-motivated.
