Student Disability Services (SDS) is seeking a reliable, attentive, process-driven individual to fulfill one of our Part-Time Document Conversion Specialist roles.
The mission of Student Disability Services is to ensure full participation and equitable access for students with disabilities. Students rely on document conversion services to receive timely, accessible course materials. SDS operates under the legal regulations of the Americans with Disabilities Act, Section 504, and the Rehabilitation Act of 1973.
This position supports the Document Conversion Access Coordinator of Student Disability Services with the production of accessible alternate media for students with disabilities. Primary duties include converting course materials into accessible formats for students by using a variety of software, submitting converted files by specified deadlines, and communicating with the Document Conversion team.
This is a remote position, but some in-person work will be required for training, obtaining equipment, and occasional job responsibilities. We are looking for someone to work 15 to 19.5 hours per week.
