As our Digital Accessibility Analyst, you will work closely with our Accessibility Team to be the agency’s advocate of accessibility and help teams with implementation and testing to create engaging and interactive digital activations that cater to all consumers including those with disabilities (e.g., vision, hearing, physical, cognitive, temporary and situation disabilities, etc.). This role is about setting up the teams for success and establishing your mark within the agency.

You will be an accessibility expert, someone with an agile mindset and experience partnering with multiple stakeholders across the agency. You will join a collaborative team whose work is integral to ensuring TMS digital experiences are usable by the widest array of people.

**ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

* Is a Digital Accessibility subject matter expert that will help with program audits and accessibility implementation.
* Must be a motivated and self-directed individual with knowledge of WCAG guidelines and a focus on web and mobile-based applications, as well as mobile gaming.
* Must be a subject matter expert in Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and have a thorough understanding of legal requirements across different markets.
* Attain comprehensive proficiency in the accessibility toolkits utilized internally and by our clients.
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accessibility compliance throughout the development process, including concept evaluation, wireframes, designs, content creation, development, and testing.
* Work closely with the Senior Director of Digital Delivery and Senior Digital Accessibility Analyst to drive company-wide accessibility initiatives.
* Serve as a liaison with external accessibility vendors for testing purposes.
* Oversee the accessibility of digital content across various platforms, encompassing emails, websites, in-app web views, and gaming experiences.
* Assist teams in comprehending and addressing feedback from internal reviews and 3rd party accessibility audits.
* Documenting accessibility issues and providing clear remediation solutions to UX, Design, Copy/Content, and Development teams.
* Perform other duties as assigned.

**SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE WOULD LIKE YOU TO HAVE**

* 3+ years of experience conducting WCAG accessibility reviews for web and mobile applications, within an agency environment.

* Experience in reviewing concepts, wireframes and designs by calling out accessibility improvement and potential WCAG failures.

* Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with experience reviewing code and implementing or advising on remediation to ensure proper semantic markup, correct ARIA usage, and accessible component behavior.
* Skilled in producing clear audit documentation, with actionable remediation guidance for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Experienced with assistive technologies, such as JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver (iOS), and TalkBack (Android).
* Experienced with various testing tools such as Axe DevTools, WAVE, Bookmarklets, and color contrast analyzers.

* Able to provide and review accessible content copy, including alternative text, ARIA labels, closed captions, and audio descriptions.

* Proficient in project management and collaboration tools such as Confluence, Jira, Smartsheet, Microsoft Teams, Slack, and MS Office.

* Actively engaged in the accessibility community and committed to advancing inclusive digital experiences.

* Highly organized, adaptable, and solution-oriented, with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

* Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies (CPACC) or working towards equivalent certification
* Understanding various accessibility laws such as ADA and EAA, and their requirements.
* Nice to have: Familiarity with gaming accessibility, with knowledge of various accessible gaming guidelines.

Starting salary between$45/hr CAD
