You will have validated experience in web technologies (such as HTML, JavaScript and CSS) as well as being an authority in Accessibility. You consider accessibility a basic human right and you want to work somewhere where people feel the same way. The role will involve working with many teams at a time on a variety of exciting projects and will require you to ensure the best output from each team.
Key Qualifications

In-depth knowledge and practical experience of web technologies including HTML, CSS and JavaScript
Strong proven understanding of WCAG 2.x guidelines and WAI-ARIA
Knowledge and practical experience of implementing accessibility testing methodologies
Ability to provide accessible code solutions using web technologies
Excellent knowledge and understanding Apple accessibility features on macOS and iOS
Strong first-hand experience in testing with assistive technologies (including screen readers such as VoiceOver, JAWS and NVDA)
Skills for independently learning new technologies
Demonstrable experience in building strong working relationships with others
Ability to work on multiple projects and manage a dynamic working environment
Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills

Description
Are you a self-starter, capable to adapt and adhere to internal guidelines and processes, and work under tight deadlines with teams spread around the globe? Apple’s IS&T Accessibility and SEO Center of Excellence is a group built with the purpose of promoting and supporting accessibility across Apple as well as offering consultancy services to project teams. The team is looking for a highly motivated and hard-working individual, who is able to act as an accessibility expert. You will need to audit new and existing internal and external solutions, work with teams throughout the entire lifecycle of a project on new features and solutions, liaise and co-ordinate with various functions, and represent the team positively and effectively at all times. You will be a pragmatic and trustworthy individual, able to promote the best results whilst also nurturing positive relationships with all those you work with. Previous proven experience with an emphasis on accessibility would be an advantage.
Education & Experience
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $130,000 and $242,000, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
