WHY WE THINK YOU WILL LOVE THIS ROLE
As our Digital Accessibility Analyst, you will work closely with our Accessibility Team to be the agency’s advocate of accessibility and help teams with implementation and testing to create engaging and interactive digital activations that cater to all consumers including those with disabilities (e.g., vision, hearing, physical, cognitive, temporary and situation disabilities, etc.). This role is about setting up the teams for success and establishing your mark within the agency.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ORGANIZATION

You will be an accessibility expert, someone with an agile mindset and experience partnering with multiple partners across the agency. You will join a collaborative team whose work is integral to ensuring TMS digital experiences are usable by the widest array of people.
Digital Accessibility subject matter expert that will help with program audits and accessibility implementation. We are seeking a motivated and self-directed individual with knowledge of WCAG guidelines and a focus on web and mobile-based applications.
Digging deeper into the details:
• Must be a subject matter expert in Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and a thorough understanding of legal requirements and potential liabilities and fines across different markets
• Attain comprehensive proficiency in the accessibility toolkits applied by our clients
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accessibility compliance throughout the development process, including concept evaluation, wireframes, designs, content creation, development, and testing
• Work closely with the Senior Director of Digital Delivery and other Accessibility Specialists to drive company-wide accessibility initiatives
• Serve as a liaison with external accessibility vendors for testing purposes
• Oversee the accessibility of digital content across various platforms, encompassing emails, websites, in-app webviews, and AR/VR experiences
• Assist teams in comprehending and addressing feedback from accessibility audits conducted by external vendors
• Generate reports highlighting accessibility issues and their impacts
• Provide guidance to teams on integrating the principles of Universal Design for Learning and Inclusive Design into digital applications and campaigns on a global scale
• Perform other duties as assigned
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE WOULD LIKE YOU TO HAVE
• 3+ years of accessibility audits in an agency environment
• Enthusiastic about crafting inclusive digital experiences.
• Strong experience with assessing WCAG compliance according to legal/client requirements (e.g. A, AA, 2.1/2.2)
• Awareness and understanding of technical, legal, and compliance concerns related to accessibility
• Familiarity with fundamental web technologies, including CSS, HTML, and JavaScript
• Capable of code review to ensure proper structural setup (e.g., landmarks, headings, lists).
• Hands-on accessibility testing experience covering quality assurance, usability, access requirements, and inclusive design
• Knowledgeable in applying accessibility tools such as JAWS, NVDA, ZoomText, VoiceOver Screen Reader Software for iOS, TalkBalk on Android, and automated aXe testing tool
• Strong proficiency in documentation
• Highly collaborative, adept at seamless coordination with cross-functional teams for project outcomes
• Comfortable engaging with UX/UI, technology, design/copy, operations, security, and legal partners, with a knack for articulating complex concepts clearly
• Assists in guiding content creation (e.g., Image alt attributes, ARIA labels, etc.)
• Applies contrast tools to ensure compliance during creative reviews
• Experience collaborating with third-party vendors, development firms, and independent contractors.
• Proficient in project management software such as Confluence, Jira, Smartsheet, Microsoft Teams, Slack, and MS Office suite
• Actively engaged in the disability community through various avenues such as workshops, events, speaking engagements, advocacy, and personal experiences
• Digitally adept and eager to explore new platforms and acquire fresh knowledge
• Strong interpersonal skills facilitating trust and rapport with diverse personality types
• Demonstrates excellent time management, organizational prowess, and communication abilities
