This is your chance to be a part of an in-house Customer Experience team that’s using guest insights to evolve our industry-leading channels and deliver personalized experiences. As a Senior Accessibility Analyst, you will bring your technical skills to a hospitality company with an award-winning culture. On the Digital Accessibility team reporting to Manger, Digital Accessibility, you will support innovative projects including digital initiatives and data reporting to ensure consistent, accessible experiences for our guests and Team Members across Hilton’s digital ecosystem.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.

What your day-to-day will be like:

Collect, analyze, and report on data from automatic accessibility scanning tools, manual audits, accessibility maturity models, analytics systems, and other platforms to further develop our digital accessibility compliance monitoring program.
Proactively engage with accessibility peers to understand features and functions being deployed and monitor for compliance impact across our digital channels.
Implement accessibility strategy set forth by the Manager Digital Accessibility, to include managing enterprise monitoring tool vendor relationship, implementing accessibility testing methodologies that support CI/CD, and identifying success metrics.
Find opportunities to align accessibility monitoring and auditing activities with strategic business initiatives and product delivery teams' committed work.
Conduct training sessions and workshops to raise awareness about the compliance monitoring and reporting program.
Develop and maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of accessibility compliance reports, and processes.
How you will collaborate with others:

Provide code-based solutions and examples for common accessibility violations, and partner with front-end developers to implement a consistent, accessible website experience.
Evaluate and recommend accessibility improvements to existing design systems and component libraries.
Work with team members within delivery teams to capture findings from accessibility efforts.
Support delivery teams in their efforts to craft, develop, test, deliver and maintain target accessibility standards.
What projects you will take ownership of:

Oversee Hilton’s enterprise accessibility monitoring program using tools such as Axe Monitor, AxeDev Tools, etc., evaluate scan results and prioritize defects in agile delivery teams' backlogs.
Identify, build, and deliver self-service documentation and in-context training as required to advance software delivery teams’ abilities to deliver accessible and inclusive digital experiences.
Regularly evaluate new monitoring tools, track Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) rule changes, and continually refine system processes for improved defect identification and flexible conformance reporting by strategic priorities, platforms, components, and channels.
WHY YOU’LL BE A GREAT FIT

You have these minimum qualifications:

Three (3) years of work experience in the digital accessibility field.
You have a solid understanding of WCAG 2.1 (all levels) and tactical knowledge of WAI-ARIA and W3C standards-compliant HTML, CSS, and an understanding of mobile accessibility.
Understand and have demonstrable experience in applying accessibility and usability principles, including Universal Design, that impact users with disabilities in the discovery, design/wireframe, user story, development, and testing phases of software development.
Hands on assistive technology experience with at least 2 screen readers (JAWS, Voice Over, TalkBack or NVDA) and one non-screen reader AT such as screen magnification, alternative keyboard inputs, Dragon Naturally Speaking, etc.
Travel up to 10%
It would be useful if you have:

BA/BS or Bachelor’s Degree, or Associate’s Degree or High School Degree/GED plus 10+ years of Technology related experience.
Five (7) years of professional experience.
Five (5) or more years of experience in the digital accessibility field.
Certification in Accessibility (e.g., CPACC, WAS, or CWPA), Mobile Development, or User Experience
Prior experience in the Hospitality industry.
