We set them. Job Family Summary:
The Digital Accessibility Team is responsible for coordinating and reviewing the compliance of products related to the Accessibility Policy. Working with ATSV and across AORs to support of ADA compliance standards. The team, within the Digital Connectivity team within Marketing, also serves as an enterprise resource in the areas of digital accessibility by delivering consulting and guidance to the enterprise, working across teams to educate, and collaboratively working with compliance and legal to ensure Allstate’s positive influence in the accessibility digital world. Job Summary:
This individual will be responsible for working directly with internal AORS, ATSV and outside vendors overseeing and updating/maintaining all our websites, especially those dedicated to our National General brand among our other Allstate brands, to comply with WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards. The role requires someone having solid web knowledge of accessibility rules, experience as a front-end web developer, and online management expertise with excellent quality and turnaround times. Key Responsibilities:
Assisting with audits of third-party vendor technology and prioritizing identified defects.
Conduct accessibility testing with assistive technology to validate user experiences against accessibility standards and best practices.
Educating clients/vendors on our process and adherence and governance over ADA
Creating and communicating project reports to legal counsel and team members on activities / updates / improvements for site accessibility on all 80+ sites within the enterprise
Monitoring progress of all 80+ sites within the enterprise and partnering sites.
Educate internal clients on the importance of site accessibility
Serve as point of contact for accessibility questions and concerns for development teams. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Experience:
Experience using an ADA self-service tool (Siteimprove or Wave)
1-3 years of experience leading digital initiatives with an experience in accessibility P
Proven knowledge of W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Section 508, ADA, other accessibility laws and standards.
Experience managing Agile projects
HTML / coding a plus
Able to manage all levels of projects from simple to complex
Commitment to continuous learning.
Strong written and verbal communications skills

Compensation offered for this role is $60,100.00-$102,625.00 per year and is based on experience and qualifications.
The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation, which includes a drug screen.
