PNC is searching for a Web Accessibility Specialist Lead that will provide digital accessibility testing, coaching and consulting to Agile teams. The person in this position will work directly with Agile teams to deliver high-value, accessible digital products & services to our customers. They will help teams find and fix accessibility issues. A strong candidate for this role will be passionate about serving customers with disabilities, deeply familiar with WCAG, and comfortable working within a cross-functional team.

In this role, you will be responsible for the following:

Perform WCAG assessments on digital assets

o Identify and clearly document accessibility issues
o Identify and clearly document remediation recommendations

Work with automated accessibility testing tools, for example: Axe and Axe Expert Browser extension(s)
Partner with cross-functional teams such as Developers, Designers, Quality Assurance and Content Contributors to execute accessibility requirements
Write accessibility recommendations for remediation
Stay up-to-date on technology and experience patterns in order to constantly be capable of communicating changes and updates to our approach to accessibility

For this role, the following background and experience is recommended:

Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and WAI-ARIA
Accessibility testing experience with at least one of the following screen readers:

o NVDA
o JAWS
o VoiceOver

Experience in professional Digital Accessibility testing
Evaluating web pages for WCAG 2.0 A/AA conformance
Preferred, but not required: experience testing any of the following types of digital assets for accessibility:

o PDF
o Microsoft Office documents (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
o Native mobile applications

Preferred Skills/Certifications

IAAP Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies (CPACC)
IAAP Web Accessibility Specialist (WAS)
Trusted Tester Certification for Web

Job Description

Executes digital strategy across business segments to optimize digital experience, leveraging design thinking and other best practices.
Monitors the marketplace to assess digital experience trends and results in order to recommend new digital experiences or enhancements to existing experiences. Prioritizes and decisions recommendations. Supports business case development.
Develops and designs the features of new or existing digital experiences to take advantage of an identified market need or opportunity. Manages the development, production, roll-out or promotion of digital experiences.
Partners with key stakeholders including Product, Technology, MIS, Line of Business, Marketing and other internal service partners as well as external stakeholders to ensure all digital experiences meet their strategic goals. Participates in product-specific marketing initiatives. May participate in client facing activities. As part of the first line of defense, supports risk management, compliance, and audit needs.
Supports business, financial, and customer experience results of digital experiences and effectively recommends modifications in experiences and/or marketing to improve results.

Work Experience

COMPENSATION:
Base Salary: $65,000.00 - $187,450.00
Where a person is paid in the compensation range is aligned to their experience and skills. Placement within the compensation range is based on the specific role and the following factors:

Lower in range – Building skills and experience in the job
Within the range – Experience and skills align with proficiency in the role
Higher in range – Experience and skills add value above typical requirements of the role
Compensation Range may vary based on Geographic Location.

INCENTIVE:
Role is incentive eligible with the payment based upon company, business and individual performance.

Salary Range: $65000 - $187000
