Hyatt is undergoing a major digital transformation — and accessibility is central to that evolution. We are seeking a **Senior Accessibility Specialist** who can bridge design, engineering, and business teams to ensure inclusive digital experiences across the entire customer journey.
This role will partner closely with Hyatt’s Principal Accessibility Specialist to embed accessibility into every phase of product development. The ideal candidate is not only deeply knowledgeable in WCAG 2.x AA standards, but also passionate about bringing the humanity of accessibility to teams who are still building their maturity in inclusive design.

What You’ll Do
* Drive adoption of **WCAG 2.x AA standards** and applicable government accessibility standards across digital products
* Partner with Designers and Engineers to ensure accessible experiences through practical, minimally disruptive adjustments
* Conduct design-level, code-level, and screen-reader accessibility audits
* Provide remediation guidance and hands-on coaching to cross-functional teams
* Perform screen reader testing and support QA processes
* Create and maintain accessibility health metrics and reporting
* Support multiple concurrent projects while managing backlog priorities
* Help advance Hyatt’s accessibility maturity through training and advocacy
What You Bring
* 7+ years of experience in digital accessibility and advocacy
* Deep knowledge of **WCAG 2.x AA standards** and real-world implementation
* Experience with assistive technologies including:
* NVDA
* JAWS
* VoiceOver
* TalkBack
* Dragon
* Experience with testing tools such as axe, Evinced Flow Analyzer, TPGi ARC, PAC3, CCA
* Strong emotional intelligence and a passion for disability advocacy
* Proven ability to lead training sessions and mentor cross-functional teams
* 3+ years of program or project management experience
* Comfortable presenting, navigating competing priorities, and influencing stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, Mural, DScout
* Ability to analyze and remediate accessibility issues directly in code
* Experience with Jira and Confluence
* Familiarity with international accessibility regulations (AODA, ACA, ADA, EAA, EN 301 549)
* IAAP (CPACC, WAS), DHS v5 Trusted Tester, or PMP certification
* Bachelor’s degree required
