UI Developer, Accessibility

Requirement/Description:

Job Responsibilities:


HTML 5, CSS 3, JS, jQuery developers (Mandatory)


We are looking for a UI/UX Developer who can excel at turning design into a functional website and applications that are desktop and mobile responsive.


The responsibilities will include reviewing wireframes and then translating them into front-end that are highly intuitive, flexible and WCAG 2.1 AA compliant.


The individual must be able to work in a very fast-paced and dynamic environment and possess exceptional eye for detail and core understanding of UX principles and best practices of HTML5.

3 to 5 years experience in front end web development

Experience with responsive design and Angular is a big plus.

Experience in Education domain is a big plus

Experience with Rapid Prototyping Tools (desired, but not required)

Works with creative team, UX Designer and Business Analyst to ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs, ensure designs are responsive in nature.

Performs unit testing at the page level. Reviews specifications and provides time estimates on the development of projects and features

Builds reusable code, templates, module, artifacts, and libraries for future use.

Optimizes site for load times, speed and scalability.

Utilizes SEO, HTML5, Responsive design & WCAG best practices.

Works directly with stakeholders (senior executives) to ensure timely and accurate content

Meet established deadlines

Strong work ethic, quick learner, team player, and flexible.

Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.

Experience in mobile device/application development.

Experience with UX and User Interactions

Develop code for the complete development stack with emphasis on the front end

Work with designers and product management to define and improve user experience - build and improving existing products.

Develop cohesive user interface components and flows

Define and advocate user interface framework standards

Good to have exposure of information security practices
