Accessibility Expert

We're looking for an Accessibility Expert to join our team at Wix, dedicated to advancing accessibility initiatives across our platform. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products are inclusive and accessible to all users, regardless of their abilities. You will:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate accessibility best practices into our product development processes
Conduct audits and assessments to evaluate the accessibility of Wix products, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions
Work closely with designers and engineers to ensure that new features and updates meet high standards of inclusivity
Stay informed about changes in accessibility standards and regulatory requirements, ensuring that Wix products remain compliant and up-to-date
Gather feedback from users with disabilities and incorporate their input into product enhancements and improvements
Advocate for accessibility initiatives internally, promoting awareness and driving positive change
Collaborate with team members to create a supportive and collaborative environment, working together to ensure the success of Wix's accessibility efforts


Qualifications:

2+ years of hands-on experience in accessibility-related roles, demonstrating expertise in evaluating, implementing, or advocating for accessibility solutions
Strong knowledge of accessibility best practices, guidelines and regulation
Proficiency in HTML and familiarity with web standards
In-depth understanding of how screen readers and assistive technologies interact with web content
Experience in establishing robust quality guidelines and standards for accessibility-focused content
You’re a collaborative team player with a proactive approach, always eager to learn and tackle new challenges head-on
Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts related to accessibility to cross-functional teams
You have a proven track record of driving initiatives and championing topics within teams and organizations
