Accessibility Analyst, Chrome & Chrome OS

Full Job Description

Minimum qualifications:

2 years of experience in accessibility testing or a recognized accessibility certification. (e.g., IAAP, assistive technology software and hardware)
Experience with testing assistive technology. (e.g., screen readers, magnification software, switch control devices, etc.)
Experience with accessibility standards such as WCAG, ARIA and Section 508.


Preferred qualifications:

Ability to write and debug web pages with HTML, CSS, and ARIA.
Familiarity with assistive technology on both desktop and mobile.
Familiarity with a wide range of disabilities.

About the job

Join our team of accessibility analysts responsible for testing Chrome & Chrome OS Accessibility, including bug triage, feature launch review, and product auditing. You are passionate about the web and Chromebooks, and are familiar with assistive technology and experienced testing features for accessibility and triaging accessibility issues.
Responsibilities

Perform launch reviews of new features and decide whether they meet the bar for accessibility.
Consult with feature teams who are working on ensuring their features are accessible.
Perform full audits of Chrome & Chrome OS across platforms for accessibility issues.
Triage accessibility issues and determine their priority and what component the bug belongs to.
Test new user-facing accessibility features and ensure they're polished.
