About the job

Google's projects, like our users, span the globe and require managers to keep the big picture in focus. As a Program Manager at Google, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects. You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating goals to project stakeholders. Your projects often span offices, time zones and hemispheres, and it's your job to keep all the players coordinated on the project's progress and deadlines.

The web is what you make of it and our team is helping the world make more of the web. From open-source pros to user-experience extraordinaire, we develop products that help users connect, communicate and collaborate with others. As the Program Lead for Accessibility, you will work with teams across the globe who are building content, features, and services, to be an advocate for users with disabilities, and to make sure that accessibility is a priority and keeps getting better.

This will include promoting accessibility within the organization, setting and executing the team vision, training engineers and product managers, participating in early design meetings to integrate accessibility best practices, testing experimental features, and facilitating communication between teams. In addition, in this role you will present at external conferences and manage communication with other product teams and vendors.

Manage team of accessibility product and program managers.
Help design the next generation of features for users with disabilities.
