Facebook is seeking an experienced Front End Engineer that is passionate about building accessible mobile and desktop web applications that provide robust experiences in assistive technology. This position is full-time and is based in our Menlo Park office.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Build accessible and reusable front-end abstractions and systems
Implement automated testing tools for accessibility
Participate in design and code reviews
Interact with other team members to incorporate their innovations
Identify and communicate best practices for front-end engineering and accessibility
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
3+ years of JavaScript experience, including concepts like asynchronous programming, closures, types, and ES6
3+ years of HTML/CSS experience, including concepts like layout, specificity, cross-browser compatibility, and accessibility
3+ years experience with browser APIs and optimizing front-end performance
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
BS or MS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
