We are looking for an accessibility designer to join our Design Systems team. If you are passionately committed to creating experiences that are broadly accessible, understand the challenges of navigating digital spaces as a disabled person, and are a champion of inclusive design practices — this role may be a fit.

You will:
Be a champion of a11y for healthcare, and impact teams and individuals throughout Commure.
Apply your knowledge of accessibility and design systems to define, guide and build accessibility into Commure’s core platform.
Partner with designers, user researchers, product managers and engineers to ensure new features are accessible and inclusive.
Evolve our design guidelines to better support accessibility standards.
Develop your skills as a designer and foster your areas of focus or expertise.

You have:
Previous experience with accessibility standards and guidelines such as Apple Accessibility Guidelines, Android Accessibility Guidelines and/or Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) Experience designing for assistive technologies.Experience designing voice/conversational interfaces or sound and haptics design.
Experience contributing to design systems for digital products.
Experience driving organizational change through advocacy and coaching.

English fluency.
Ideally you:
Have first hand experience with assistive technologies.Have created or contributed to open-source projects.
Have experience designing experiences for healthcare, platforms, services, or developer tools.
Have experience designing cross-platform experiences, from web to native mobile.
Are active in the a11y community.
Bring unique strengths and perspectives to the team.
