JPMorgan Chase & Co. is expanding its consumer business by launching a new digital bank in the UK. We are therefore looking to build a best in class customer experience.
Our team is at the heart of building this new venture, focused on developing offerings that put the customer at the centre.
The successful candidate will be proactive, and passionate about accessibility & digital inclusion. Has a broad knowledge of barriers that impact those with disabilities, and how to address them, as well as being able to create and maintain partnerships with multiple teams and stakeholders. Your work will have a massive impact, both on us as a company, as well as our customers and our business partners.
You will be working with teams that are equally passionate about inclusivity, and strive to embed it in everything they deliver.
Responsibilities include but not limited to
Providing in-depth accessibility guidance, in an agile environment, collaborating throughout the product lifecycle to ensure accessibility requirements are captured and considered as part of design, content, build, testing, release, and beyond
Applying accessibility requirements to a wide range of firm's digital properties, and customer facing channels
Supporting identifying, triaging and prioritising defects. And ability to identify root cause of any customer reported accessibility-related feedback or concern
Managing and maintaining updates to firm standards through research, collaboration and knowledge of current trends
Building relationships among stakeholders, to foster support for new digital accessibility initiatives; driving the maturity of the accessibility program
Staying ahead of emerging standards and technologies; analysing impact on current firm standards
Creating training strategies, and coaching colleagues
Qualifications
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a related field
Proven experience in driving accessibility in digital customer facing programs
Ability to prioritise, work independently and part of a team
Expert knowledge of accessibility standards, such as WCAG 2.1, PDF/UA, etc.
Expert in assistive technology across different platforms & operating systems
Web (Windows & MacOS)
Mobile (Android & iOS)
Tablet (Android & iOS)
Technical knowledge and awareness of applying accessibility guidelines using different technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and WAI-ARIA. As well as, Native & React Native mobile development
Additional desirable qualifications
Any IAAP related certification (CPACC, WAS, or ADS)
