We’re looking for an accessibility subject matter expert who understands accessibility best practices, WCAG accessibility guidelines and how to apply them to PDFs. You will join a team of accessibility testers and technical subject matter experts. It will require a precise eye for detail, a knack for storytelling, and creativity, compassion, and problem-solving abilities. You’ll need excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to achieve agreement with partners and stakeholders.
In this role you will…
Work closely with project teams across the enterprise to build out accessible systems.
Partner with and guide writers, designers, and developers on accessible implementation.
Conduct accessibility QA testing on PDFs.
Ensure designs are inclusive and meet accessibility requirements.
Defines, plans, coordinates, and executes department projects as part of an overall initiative.
Gathers data and information and provides analysis.
Leads or participates in meetings and presentations with the project team, internal business clients and the management team.
Support the creation of education materials for clients and internal employees.
What it takes
4+ years of related work experience.
Undergraduate degree and/or equivalent combination of training and experience in a creative or technical field.
Demonstrates business acumen in Accessibility.
Experience with Assistive technology JAWS, NVDA, and VoiceOver.
Experience with accessibility automated testing tools Axe, WAVE, or ARC.
Understanding of WCAG 2.1 Accessibility Guidelines.
Motivated self-starter & problem solver with a desire to learn from and partner with colleagues.
Collaborative work ethic.
Willingness to adapt to change.
Able to complete tasks efficiently and comfortable juggling multiple tasks at once.
Familiar with working in an agile environment.
Specializations that will make an impact
(WAS) Web Accessibility Specialist or Certified Professional in Web Accessibility (CPWA) certifications

Future of Work
During the pandemic, we transitioned to a work from home model for the majority of our crew and we continue to interview, hire, and on-board future crew remotely.
