Leidos has a need for a motivated Senior Tester/Lead to provide hands on expertise using the latest open-source products and best practices. The candidate will be collocated with the SSA government employees and subcontractors at a government facility in Baltimore, Maryland. The candidate must be able to pass a Federal Suitability Check for a position of public trust. Specifically, the successful candidate will be a member of an Agile Team working with other Agile teams, System Architects, Test Architects, Developers, Database Engineers, DevOps, Implementation team, IT Infrastructure & Operations Team and External System Owners to perform test automation for applications using open-source technologies and products. Candidate's primary responsibility will be to support advanced Test team for end-to-end manual testing, Automation testing using selenium/Java and 508 working with JAWS, WAVE, ANDI, Behavior Driven Development (BDD) Cucumber framework in Agile Environment.

Foundation for Success (Basic Qualifications):

This experience is the foundation a candidate needs to be successful in this position:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field
Masters or Doctorate degree may substitute for required experience
10+ years of experience developing and conducting functional and system integration testing
5+ years’ experience as an analyst gathering requirements while working closely with customer and development teams
3+ years of experience with 508 testing using JAWS
3+ Years of experience with Automation testing using Selenium and Java
5+ years of experience on an Agile development team, preferable Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)

Expertise developing and conducting functional and system integration testing.
Strong experience using Automation tools selenium/java
Strong experience as an analyst
Strong experience with 508 testing using JAWS, ANDI
Strong experience writing test plans and test cases
Experience as Test lead while also performing hands on testing duties.
Comprehensive knowledge of Scrum and Kanban Agile development process and ceremonies including scrums, planning events, backlog grooming, retrospectives, and demos.
Strong communication and collaborative skills in Quality assurance and analysis.
Sound knowledge of quality Assurance methods and procedures, as well as familiarity with the full life cycle development processes
Responsible for the overall 508 testing including test planning, test strategy and testing deliverables including documentation.
Completes reporting materials and other necessary documentation as required including test logs and VPATs.

Senior level experience as business analyst and tester (Both manual and automation)
Experience maintaining resources in configuration management tools, such as GitHub repository.
Knowledge of web accessibility testing practices used on web platforms

Education & Qualifications

Master’s degree and 5+ years of experience in a training-related field or bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of experience in a training-related field
Must be able to obtain a Public Trust

Pay Range:
Pay Range $97,500.00 - $150,000.00 - $202,500.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.

Salary Range: $97000 - $202000
