Job Purpose



In today’s web world, compliance topics such as accessibility and privacy dictate all new requirements for website maintenance. As we want to empower every person on the planet, we need to be a thought leader in these matters. We’re therefore looking for a Web Compliance Manager who would own programs and projects related to accessibility and privacy across our portfolio of Websites. This person would also be a decision maker and representative for upcoming projects or programs on future compliance matters.



You would be a key member of the team and would need to collaborate well internally (with our site managers) as well as externally (with stakeholders such as MScom, Analytics, and Cookie Compliance or Accessibility programs). You would represent all 14 of our Device websites (most notably Windows.com, Surface.com, Xbox.com and HoloLens.com). Many of these topics are new in general, and this person must be able to learn and adopt new ways of working as well as explain these matters to the broader team.

Responsibilities
Being the owner and Windows and Devices Group Web representative for all ongoing and future compliance programs, including Accessibility and GDPR
Running an on ongoing dialogue with various stakeholders to ensure our websites are up to date and compliant, and making sure we are working against the latest standards which frequently change
Owning and reporting the status for any compliance matter to different stakeholders
Managing vendor relationships, including ensuring that the content we create is compliant from the start and that our internal audit processes work fluently and that audit results are being acted upon
Being the communications channel about compliance matters to the team, and ensuring the team maintains compliance

Qualifications
3+ years of experience in digital marketing, web operations, and/or program management is required
Deep understanding of Digital Marketing and Web Site Operations
Expertise in and aptitude for web standards and compliance
Knowledge of technical tools and processes in website design and production
Experience with compliance audits and quality assurance tools and processes
Strong compliance mindset combined with a deep sense of curiosity
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Education and Experience

5+ years of experience in digital operations, web development, project management, business analysis or similar management role preferred
Demonstrated project management skills, must be able to build consensus and enthusiasm among stakeholders at all levels and provide clear documentation of progress and deliverables
BA/BS in communications, marketing, IT or related discipline
Strong business analysis, problem-solving and analytical skills
