Accessibility Software Engineer Lead

As an accessibility software engineer in the Progressive User Research and Accessibility Services organization, you’ll work with the Accessibility Service Management team to identify improvements and enhance the accessibility of internal and external digital applications based on the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) level 2.1. You’ll collaborate with User Experience Designers (UXD) and Front-End Developers who need design and development knowledge to assist with solving issues through instruction and example. You must have a working knowledge of design patterns and developing code to create and understand maintainable and performant Object-Oriented software designs.

This is a remote position with occasional travel to an office for a meeting and/or training.

Must-have qualifications
Bachelor's degree or higher in an Information Technology discipline or related field of study and a minimum of 4 years related work experience
In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 6 years of related work experience and CPACC, or WAS certification
Preferred skills
Angular, iOS, Android experience
Knowledge of front-end development tools, including semantic HTML, CSS, JavaScript, ARIA, CPACC or WAS certifications
Full Stack development with hands-on experience designing, building, and orchestrating workflows/pipelines using Prefect, AWS, and Snowflake
Experience using accessibility testing tools (Evinced, WAVE, Axe, Chrome DevTools) and assistive technologies, such as screen readers (JAWs, NVDA, VoiceOver)
Compensation
$135,000-$145,000/year
Gainshare annual cash incentive payment up to 40% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
