Accessibility Program Manager

Meta’s Accessibility & Engagement (A&E) organization focuses on advancing accessibility and providing community support through engagement both internally and externally. We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Accessibility Program Manager to join our A&E team. This role is responsible for facilitating engagement with internal product teams, the central accessibility team, external advocacy organizations, clients, and people who use our products to understand challenges and priorities related to accessibility and share information about the usability and value of our products. The team works to communicate Meta's accessibility approach and build relationships with advocacy groups and clients. The team is committed to building products with the community through co-design labs and reinforcing investment in community-oriented product development. This position plays a crucial role in shaping Meta’s representation on product accessibility, fostering partnerships, and driving innovation in people-centered product development.

Accessibility Program Manager Responsibilities:

Understand and establish Meta’s record on product Accessibility for engagement with a range of audiences and partners
Create executive-level communications for internal and external use
Foster XFN partnerships to support the A&E strategy, ensuring buy-in and successful implementation
Develop an understanding of Meta's products, particularly their accessibility features, value proposition for different cohorts, and existing pain points, to inform strategic decisions
Design and implement an external partnership strategy, cultivating relationships with disability advocacy organizations and other stakeholders to advance accessibility goals and promote collaboration
Independently manage projects and activities from ideation to execution, including strategy development, high-profile events and activations, to drive meaningful impact and results

Minimum Qualifications:

12+ years of relevant experience as a project/program manager or equivalent in a related field
Experience developing and drafting communications, turning complex information into relevant, timely and valuable content for broad audiences
Proficiency in end-to-end program management, effectively transforming ideas into realities with measurable outcomes
Experience influencing and driving alignment amongst a wide stakeholder base, including: leadership, peers, technical, and non-technical stakeholders across roles across the company
Track record of operating independently, demonstrating creativity, being detail-oriented, and delivering results at a large scale
Self-directed, detail-oriented, with experience being a proactive problem solver
Demonstrated experience of adapting to changing priorities and deadlines, prioritizing work, and planning time effectively
Experience in technology products and managing multiple complex announcements, launches and campaigns on time and under tight deadlines
Bachelor’s degree

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working for or with people with disabilities or in functions or organizations whose focus is on disability
Broad knowledge of artificial intelligence, research, and product development
Experience working on Product Accessibility issues

$174,000/year to $243,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
