ADA WebGuard, LLC is currently seeking a Web Accessibility Analyst in Miami, FL (South Florida). In this role you will be apart of the Accessibility Team testing and reporting on web applications for compliance with WCAG 2.0 / 2.1 levels.

We are looking for someone with a core understanding of web development technologies and how they impact the user experience.

You should be able to clearly and effectively communicate in both written and verbal fashion. Written communication should show a high attention to detail. Verbal communication should be formal and indicate the ability to communicate complex topics concisely.

Testing interfaces and validating that they conform to technical requirements is the primary responsibility for this role. A desire to perform this validation and experience testing web-based interfaces for compliance with design specifications is critical.

Responsibilities:
Conduct compliance assessments against client's websites via manual reviews, automated test tools and assistive technologies
Compliance test web sites (HTML) and PDF documents
Be able to report and prioritize accessibility defects
Assist project teams in understanding accessibility defects and solutions/fixes for defects
Participate in reviewing designs of new or changing applications and be able to articulate accessibility concerns to project management, designers, technical leads and developers.
Collaborate in scheduling, estimating and tracking work in collaborative tools.

Ability to manage and execute multiple concurrent tasks.

Requirements:
HTML, CSS, Javascript experience is required
Familiarity with W3C HTML and WAI-ARIA recommendations and best practices is required
Experience with working with multiple agile teams is a plus
Experience working with development teams is a plus
Flexibility to perform other duties as assigned


Great to have (Will Train):
2+ years of work experience of testing with a screen reader. Preferably JAWS and/or ChromeVox
Experience with standard WCAG testing tools (ie JAWS, Web Accessibility Tool Bar, Inspect. Etc.)
3+ years of software testing experience
Experience developing user interfaces and PDF documents is a plus.
Experience testing native apps is a plus
IAAP Web Accessibility Specialist Certification is a big plus
Strong computer skills including adaptive technology skills in Braille, speech and large print


Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in technology or equivalent work
Bachelor’s degree Web Development, Computer Science or a related technical field – preferred
0- 2+ years HTML, CSS, JavaScript (new grads please apply!)


We will provide training and help certify the ideal candidate for this position.

To become an IAAP CPWA (Certified Professional in Web Accessibility) is the goal of this role. Training and certification test will be provided to the candidate upon hiring.
