About Salesforce
We’re Salesforce, the Customer Company, inspiring the future of business with AI+ Data +CRM. Leading with our core values, we help companies across every industry blaze new trails and connect with customers in a whole new way. And, we empower you to be a Trailblazer, too — driving your performance and career growth, charting new paths, and improving the state of the world. If you believe in business as the greatest platform for change and in companies doing well and doing good – you’ve come to the right place.
We believe Salesforce can be one of the world’s most accessible companies and a top-ranked employer for people with disabilities. We are looking for a seasoned accessibility customer engagement leader to join the Office of Accessibility.
Bring your skills and strengths to a place that embraces Accessibility. At Salesforce, we believe that who you are – including everything that makes you unique – contributes to how you add value to what you do. We are committed to fostering a supportive environment that welcomes and celebrates all ideas and perspectives.
Your Impact
We are looking for a creative and highly organized communications and engagement professional to help scale the reach and impact of our work. As Manager, Communications & Engagement, you’ll lead strategic storytelling, oversee accessibility-related events, manage day-to-day communications, and serve as a key connection point across our internal and external communications efforts.
You’ll oversee social media, lead flagship Office of Accessibility events, manage our content pipeline, and strengthen relationships with cross-functional teams like Social, PR, and Recruiting to amplify accessibility initiatives company-wide.
This is a high-visibility role ideal for a strong communicator and project manager with experience leading accessibility-related events, managing content strategy, and working with multiple stakeholders — and who is passionate about equity and inclusion.
Specifically You Will
Communications & Storytelling
Lead day-to-day content development across internal and external channels (newsletters, blogs, talking points, and more)
Own and execute our Office of Accessibility LinkedIn strategy — drafting posts, publishing content, and monitoring performance
Collaborate with The Office of Accessibility and cross-functional teams (e.g., PR, Social, Legal, Recruiting, Events) to align messaging and drive broader impact
Draft and edit talking points, presentation materials, and other messaging for executives and team members
Manage and update the comms and engagement calendar to ensure deadlines and deliverables are on track
Strategic Accessibility Events & Engagement
Lead planning and execution for major accessibility campaigns and events, including Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD), Disability Employment Awareness Month (DEAM), and International Day of People with Disabilities (IDPWD)
Support planning and execution of the annual Accessibility Summit, designing an experience that engages both internal and external audiences
Support post-event storytelling, scripting, and amplification of key moments across internal and external channels
Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to drive engagement and awareness across the company
Operations & Support
Provide operational support including project tracking, resourcing updates, and campaign reporting
Manage content contractors and coordinate creative support for communications materials
The Person Most Successful in This Role Will Have
5+ years of experience in communications, marketing, or content strategy
Experience planning and executing strategic events or campaigns with multiple stakeholders
Exceptional writing and editing skills
Experience managing contractors, agencies, or vendor relationships
Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills
Demonstrated experience with social media strategy and content, especially LinkedIn
Familiarity with accessibility, disability inclusion, or inclusive design (personal or professional connection is a plus)
Comfortable using Salesforce tools such as Salesforce, Slack, Tableau, and Workday
Desired Skills
Strong collaboration in a highly matrixed organization, with tightly connected partnership groups across multiple stakeholder groups, and with excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills;
Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth, rapidly evolving workplace;
Simultaneously manage complex workloads, multiple demands, and competing priorities under tight deadlines;
Proactive, resourceful self-starter with strong innovation, creative and problem-solving skills;
See the big picture while having a keen detail orientation;
Collaborate with a global workforce.
