Proposal Coordinator and Team Supporter: Accessibility and Transportation Planning
Left Turn Right Turn
Canada (Remote),CA
"Left Turn Right Turn (LTRT) is a rapidly growing transit, accessibility and transportation consulting firm. We help our clients understand their current situation, develop a vision of a better future, and build a plan to get them there. Collectively, we’re passionate about improving communities through the collaborative exploration of solutions in accessibility and transportation. Our accessibility team works with organizations, including museums, couriers, parks, railways and other public and private organizations, to help them improve the accessibility of their services, locations, practices, and policies. Our transportation planning team helps communities envision how they want people to get around, and develop policies, plans, and projects to help them get there.
We pride ourselves on offering: Pragmatic Solutions and Visionary Transformation (alright, so it’s a bit cheesy… but we like to think it’s true!!). The LTRT team is creative, collaborative, balanced, and ethical. These are our core values that embody our approach to everything.
More information about our culture, compensation and what it’s REALLY like to work with us can be found on our website.
Responsibilities:
As a Proposal Coordinator and Team Supporter you will coordinate proposal development and business development, a key function in the consulting world (we gotta land the work to do the work!). You’ll work mostly with our transportation planning and accessibility teams. Know that your work will help each of the respective teams to make significant and meaningful change in their fields. You will tackle a wide variety of assignments, applying your smarts, experience, and creativity. And the theme that underpins your work is detail, detail, detail – in accurately processing, tracking, coordinating and making sure nothing slips through the cracks.
Your responsibilities would include:
* Leading and coordinating the development of proposals for clients, including attending pre-proposal meetings, coordinating contributions from others, writing experience and qualifications content, technical writing, and ensuring all key deadlines are met.
* Coordinate business development activities (e.g. meetings with potential partners, development and updates to pitch decks, and opportunity updates).
* Support development and edits of reports and presentations.
* Coordinate with other Team Supporters to develop and update LTRT policies, and develop new processes (e.g. proposal database, employee skills/certifications database, file naming conventions).
* Support the occasional workshop/meeting scheduling.
* And much, much more – including seeking your input about your work.
This is primarily a work-from-home position as LTRT does not maintain permanent office space. There are occasional opportunities for in-person gathering (for work or socializing) in the Greater Toronto Area or Montreal (however candidates can be located anywhere in Canada).

Do you have some or all of the following?

* Excellent writing and communication skills, with a knack for translating technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
* A love for detail and accuracy.
* Ability to juggle (assignments at a minimum, balls if you are a pro)
