Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
4 years of experience in product management with technical products
2 years of experience with accessibility of technical products
Experience driving elements of product life-cycle while working with cross-functional teams

Preferred qualifications:

Experience driving features in browsers, web platforms, and/or operating systems
Experience with assistive technologies including screen readers, refreshable braille displays, magnifiers, switch access, head tracking, and/or voice control
Experience working in industry standards groups such as World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), ETSI, and Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE)
Experience with user interface (UI) design principles or user research

On the Chrome and Chrome OS Accessibility team, our mission is to help impact the lives of people with disabilities by building software that supports their needs. We work to make the Chrome OS operating system useful and usable for people by creating a platform for developing accessible applications on the open web. As a Product Manager, you will coordinate with cross-functional teams to help build solutions to problems faced by people with disabilities using the Chrome and Chrome OS platforms.

Additional Information
(Colorado only*) Salary range of $124,000 - $133,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.
*Note: Disclosure as required by sb19-085 (8-5-20) of the minimum salary compensation for this role when being hired into our offices in Colorado.
Responsibilities

Drive accessibility features from idea to launch by working with Engineering, Marketing, Legal, User Experience (UX) Design, User Research, and Accessibility analysts
Work on Chrome's user interface (UI) to improve the experience for users with disabilities including those who rely on third-party assistive technology
Use tools and application programming interfaces (API) to help improve the web platform and help developers make their web applications accessible to everyone
Build and improve Chrome OS platform features (e.g, screen reading, braille support, magnification, color enhancement, etc.) for users with disabilities
