Assistive Technology Specialist

Special School District (SSD) assistive technology specialists champion our mission of empowering students by training staff to utilize assistive technology devices effectively. In this role, you'll serve as both consultant and educator, delivering professional development on assistive technology while fostering collaboration with individualized learning plan providers to address students' needs. Our specialists prioritize accessibility and inclusive practices, promoting these principles throughout their instructional endeavors.



Specialists work 8 AM to 3:30 PM Monday through Friday at our Central Office, 12110 Clayton Road, Town & Country, MO, 63131 with occational travel required. Occasional weekend/after hours required. They are generously compensated and receive benefits, including insurance, paid time off and holidays, access to staff health clinics, and more.
