Mott MacDonald’s support services are the driving force behind our organisation enabling us to run efficiently and effectively. The team works collaboratively to offer specialist advice, best practice and technology to all areas of our business specifically designed for our global reach. 



Overview of role


Combining technical expertise with a strategic vision, this role ensures Mott MacDonald’s website(s) and digital experience platform reflects repeatable modern design principles and offers seamless user experiences. The manager is responsible for keeping the website updated with the latest requirements and road-mapped features while adhering to all corporate guidelines and regulatory compliance including accessibility and on/off page SEO.



You will be based in the Group Marketing and Communications team in London, liaising and collaborating closely with the five regional marketing teams, bid teams and account leaders across the business worldwide.


Key Responsibilities:





Oversee web development, ensuring the website meets modern design and functionality standards
Stay updated with technological advancements to ensure the website offers a competitive user experience
Collaborate with the wider marketing team for a unified approach to web and content strategies





Essential



Strong SEO, and web development skills including familiarity with modern digital tools and W3C
Experience with platforms like Piwik Pro Tag Manager and Analytics, Optimizely CMS or their equivalents is beneficial
Understanding of the latest web technologies and their relevance to our sector
Strong experience working with accessibility standards such as WCAG

Technical expertise paired with a user-centric approach
Drive to incorporate the latest and most appropriate web best practices while aligning with corporate standards i.e., DPA/GDPR
Strategic thinker, ensuring the website serves both commercial and user needs
