Target is an iconic brand, a Fortune 50 company and one of America’s leading retailers. Right along with Target’s distinctive retail brand, we are constantly improving and innovating our digital accessibility experience.
Join a world-class Accessibility, User Experience Design (UX) and Research team responsible for connecting the guest to the product and UX team for key context and insights that better inform the design process. Here, we pride ourselves on designing tangible, inspiring and impactful solutions that serve our guests, team members and business. And we make sure that all of Target's Digital experiences, both in-store and online, are fully accessible to people with disabilities.
As an Accessibility Consultant you will learn WCAG 2.1 AA and our internal accessibility procedures. You will then use this knowledge to actively apply these procedures to digital experiences during both strategic planning and testing cycles as an active participant with our technology and design teams. You will use assistive technologies to test all experiences for accessibility gaps prior to them going live. You will have the opportunity to learn and apply this knowledge with the guidance of an experienced Sr. or Lead Accessibility Consultant as you rotate through all of our guest facing and team member facing work-streams. You will be working on cutting edge digital experiences and will have the opportunity to be a part of crafting the future of accessibility. Your work is critical in driving inclusivity for all Target guests and team members.
