We’re looking for a highly motivated and passionate individual to focus on Marketing initiatives and drive the execution of Accessibility programs. This role would help to advance strategic partnerships, internal and external engagement, and communications highlighting Apple’s work to support individuals with disabilities. This position requires a dynamic, highly motivated individual with great project management skills to manage the creation of marketing materials supporting the introduction of programs targeted to customers with disabilities and others who support accessibility. Success requires close partnership with a wide array of teams across Apple to effectively manage multiple projects at any given time. Join Apple, and help us leave the world better than we found it!
2-5 years of experience in a similar role or accessibility related field.
Solid written and presentation communications skills, adept in distilling broad concepts and intentions into clear impacts and executable programs.
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously
Thrives on highly collaborative projects — strengths lie in building and fostering productive partnerships.
Strategic thinker and problem solver capable of creating and driving projects to completion
Self-motivated and proactive with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities.
Experienced in prioritizing and tracking daily issues and tasks.
Strong creative and organizational skills to help create and manage communication assets including written summaries, presentations, photography, and visual assets. (Experience working across the suite of Apple software, especially Keynote. Photoshop and Illustrator a plus.)
Experience capturing and analyzing industry news, data, competitive landscape and analysis.
A broad understanding of Apple accessibility as a value and as a family of features, as well as the disability communities we support, with a passion to learn and demonstrate what you know to others.
You will support marketing programs in the Accessibility Policy and Initiatives team by developing written and visual resources, events, and communications that lead to measurable, strategic outcomes driving awareness of Apple’s dedication to Accessibility. RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: - Support a coordinated communications, reporting and partner engagement strategy to increase awareness of Apple’s accessibility impact. - Develop communications, sales and marketing tools to support a diverse set of constituents around accessibility programs and products - Contribute to internal and external communications campaigns focused on national and global moments - Serve as the liaison for internal teams at Apple, as well as external non-profits. Foster relationships with these cross-functional partners to drive strategic alignment, seamless integration and timely execution of program deliverables. - Track, analyze and share metrics to promote effective program development. - Identify strong external advocates and communities with whom to engage on Apple’s message. - Gather intelligence and assist in the preparation of marketing materials, briefings, and presentations. - Present Apple’s message to key external constituents in private and public endeavors (position requires some travel)
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree required.
