Co-op Live is Manchester’s new, state-of-the-art venue, set to open in 2024. With a capacity of 20,000, it will be one of the largest and most technologically advanced arenas in the UK and Europe. OVG is proud to be at the forefront of this exciting project, bringing world-class entertainment and a unique fan experience to the city.

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Fan Experience Manager (Accessibility Lead) to join our team at Co-op Live. This pivotal role will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to ensure Co-op Live is an inclusive and accessible venue for all fans, staff, and visitors. You will champion accessibility across all aspects of the fan journey, from pre-event planning to post-event feedback.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and execute a comprehensive accessibility strategy for Co-op Live, aligned with OVG’s commitment to inclusivity.
* Conduct accessibility audits and assessments of the venue, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
* Collaborate with internal teams (Operations, Security, Guest Services, Marketing, etc.) to embed accessibility best practices into all operations.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for accessibility-related inquiries and feedback from fans, community groups, and stakeholders.
* Develop and deliver training programs for staff on accessibility awareness, etiquette, and service delivery for guests with disabilities.
* Manage relationships with accessibility advocacy groups and organizations, seeking their input and guidance.
* Oversee the implementation and management of accessible services, including but not limited to, seating, wayfinding, sensory rooms, and communication tools.
* Stay abreast of the latest legislation, trends, and innovations in accessibility within the live entertainment and sports industries.
* Contribute to the overall fan experience strategy, ensuring that accessibility is a core component of every fan interaction.
* Prepare reports and presentations on accessibility initiatives, progress, and outcomes.

Qualifications:

* Proven experience in accessibility, inclusion, or disability services, preferably within the events, hospitality, or venue management sectors.
* Deep understanding of accessibility principles, legislation (e.g., Equality Act 2010), and best practices.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
* Strong project management and organizational abilities.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
* Passion for creating inclusive and equitable experiences.
* A proactive and solutions-oriented approach.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Desirable:

* Experience in a customer-facing role within a large venue or event setting.
* Knowledge of sensory accessibility needs.
