Accessibility Manager

QualityLogic is looking for an Accessibility Manager to oversee our accessibility program delivery. We are seeking an individual who has a deep understanding of accessibility subject matter, and a proven record of accomplishment of managing teams. The selected candidate will work directly for our General Manager of Software Test Services and will interface directly with clients to deliver accessibility audits, training, and document remediation services.

Responsibilities
----------------

**The position job duties would include:**

* Manage a team of accessibility Project leads and Test Technicians
* Resource scheduling, budget monitoring and forecasting
* Provide accessibility subject matter guidance directly to team members and clients as necessary
* Participate in sales calls to scope new programs
* Support sales / marketing with guest speaking and guest blogging
* Review accessibility training material for accuracy and tone

**Other critical characteristics:**

* At least 3 years of management experience
* Deep understanding of WCAG, Section 508, EN301-549, and relevant accessibility standards / laws
* Ability to use assistive technology, including live demonstrations
* Professional accessibility certifications
* Understanding of document remediation for accessibility
* Knowledge of accessible web design
* Track record of team collaboration and strong ability to communicate in written and oral formats
* Ability to work out of our Oklahoma or Boise locations (ideal but not required)

**“The perfect candidate” additional desirable characteristics:**

* Bachelor’s Degree or higher
* 5+ years of management experience
* Ability to perform direct code remediation of accessibility issues in frameworks such as Angular, React, and other web / mobile technologies
