Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is currently seeking an Accessibility Program Lead to join our team. This role will be responsible for leading and managing the organization's accessibility initiatives, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations, and promoting a culture of inclusivity. The Accessibility Program Lead will work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate accessibility best practices into the design, development, and deployment of all products and services. Responsibilities: Develop and implement a comprehensive accessibility strategy and roadmap. Oversee the execution of accessibility projects, from planning to completion. Conduct accessibility audits and assessments of digital products and services. Provide guidance and training to development teams on accessibility standards and techniques. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to ensure accessibility is considered throughout the product lifecycle. Monitor and report on the progress of accessibility initiatives. Stay up-to-date with the latest accessibility guidelines, regulations, and best practices. Manage relationships with external vendors and partners involved in accessibility efforts. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Proven experience in leading and managing accessibility programs or projects. In-depth knowledge of accessibility standards such as WCAG 2.1 AA/AAA, Section 508, and ADA. Experience with accessibility testing tools and methodologies. Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and ARIA. Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills. Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Experience in the IT services or consulting industry is a plus. Familiarity with assistive technologies. Experience with agile development methodologies.
