Contentful is looking for a Senior QA Engineer - Web Marketing to join our Web Development team on a fixed-term contract through January 31, 2026. As a key contributor to our global web presence, you will collaborate with Web Marketing, Design, Content, and Engineering teams to ensure exceptional quality across contentful.com and related marketing properties.
You’ll help define and implement QA best practices, champion accessibility and performance standards, and increase overall release confidence as we continue to deliver world-class digital experiences that drive growth and engagement.
****What to expect?****

* Partner closely with developers, designers, content strategists, and PMs to test and validate new website features, campaigns, and integrations.
* Perform manual, exploratory, and regression testing across multiple environments and devices to ensure a seamless user experience.
* Use tools like Playwright, Jest, Lighthouse, and BrowserStack to perform functional, accessibility, and performance testing.
* Contribute to improving test coverage and maintaining automated testing pipelines within GitHub Actions.
* Help define and scale QA best practices, including test plans, release processes, and documentation.
* Identify and document bugs, usability issues, and regressions, working cross-functionally to ensure timely resolution.
* Support continuous improvement of website performance, accessibility, and SEO metrics.
* Collaborate with engineering to enhance our CI/CD workflows and optimize test automation strategies.
* Bring a proactive, curious mindset to spotting edge cases and potential issues before they reach users.
****What you need to be successful****

* 5+ years of professional experience in web quality assurance or front-end testing.
* Strong knowledge of manual testing practices and a track record of identifying complex issues in responsive web environments.
* Experience with Playwright, Jest, BrowserStack, and Lighthouse or similar frameworks.
* Familiarity with Next.js, React, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript-based web applications.
* Experience working with headless CMS platforms (ideally Contentful) and API-driven websites.
* Strong understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG) and performance testing methodologies.
* Ability to write or maintain automated tests in TypeScript (nice to have).
* Experience working within CI/CD workflows (GitHub Actions preferred).
* Excellent attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to collaborate across teams.
* Proven ability to define, document, and advocate for QA processes and testing frameworks.
