Position Summary
Demonstrated understanding of user experience, WCAG & W3C guidelines, stay focused on ADA guidelines along with current IT industry standards for accessibility.
Collaborate with diverse teams to spot and remove accessibility impediments in digital content and user interfaces for both desktop and mobile technology.
Conduct accessibility testing on web applications using various assistive technology tools to identify Visually impaired, Color blind, Motor & Cognitive impairment, Poor vision challenged user issues along with an effective articulation on the defects description.
Must have an excellent understanding of both manual and automated accessibility testing tools and thorough understanding of Section 508 & ADA Act in digital content accessibility.
Required Qualifications
Must require: Excellent working expertise with some of the assistive technology tools like screen readers (preferably JAWS), CCA, Screen Magnifiers, good knowledge on keyboard focus keystrokes etc,
Collaborate with designers and developers to implement and evaluate various accessibility best practices.
Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
