Accessibility Compliance Manager

eStaff, LLC and our client are looking for an Accessibility Compliance Manager to join our team! This role will be responsible for ensuring that our digital products and platforms meet accessibility standards and legal requirements, such as WCAG and ADA. You will conduct audits, develop remediation plans, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement accessible design and development practices.

Responsibilities:

* Oversee and manage all aspects of accessibility compliance for digital products.
* Conduct regular accessibility audits and testing of websites, applications, and other digital content.
* Identify accessibility barriers and develop actionable remediation plans.
* Collaborate with design, development, content, and QA teams to integrate accessibility into the product lifecycle.
* Provide training and guidance to internal teams on accessibility best practices and standards.
* Stay up-to-date with the latest accessibility guidelines, regulations, and technologies.
* Develop and maintain accessibility documentation and policies.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for all accessibility-related inquiries and issues.

Qualifications:

* Proven experience in digital accessibility and compliance (WCAG 2.1 AA or higher).
* In-depth knowledge of accessibility standards, laws, and regulations (e.g., ADA, Section 508, EN 301 549).
* Experience with accessibility testing tools and methodologies.
* Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and ARIA, and their role in accessibility.
* Strong understanding of user experience (UX) principles related to accessibility.
* Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience with content management systems (CMS) and their accessibility features.
* Knowledge of assistive technologies (e.g., screen readers, magnifiers).
