**Position Description**

Job Title: TA I - CLIN 508 01 Introduction to Psychotherapy

Department: MS, Psychology Department

Reports To: Leila Wallach

Status: Maximum 10 hours per week

Date: 3/23/2026 - 6/18/2026

**Specific Duties and Responsibilities**

* Teaching Assistant Duties & Responsibilities may include, but not limited to: Helping with grading
* Help moderating the classroom environment and making online learning more engaging Facilitating group discussions
* Managing Canvas
* Holding office hours
* Helping with creating/presenting didactics and guest lectures if interested
* Making course materials accessible
* Support proctoring exams Creating Assignments

* Currently enrolled student at PAU in good standing.
* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
* Advanced understanding of the subject matter.
* Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
* Excellent classroom management skills.
* Able to create a comfortable learning environment for students.
* A strong work ethic, dependable, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks and follow through in a timely manner. Ability to apply sound research techniques and logical critical analysis.
