ADA Document Accessibility Analyst

A large municipal organization in the Tampa area is partnering with The Methodical Group to support a high-visibility ADA and WCAG compliance initiative impacting public-facing documents used by the community every day. If you are highly detail-oriented, analytical, and motivated by work that improves accessibility and equity for the public, this role offers meaningful, hands-on impact in a structured and well-supported environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

* Review, remediate, and certify public-facing documents for ADA & WCAG compliance
* Convert Microsoft Word documents into fully accessible PDFs
* Perform full remediation in Adobe Acrobat Professional when Word versions are unavailable
* Run accessibility checks using Adobe Acrobat Pro, CommonLook, or similar tools
* Maintain remediation logs and compliance tracking documentation
* Provide progress updates, including basic Power BI reporting
* Follow standardized remediation procedures (formal training provided)

What We’re Looking For

* 2+ years of experience in document remediation, compliance, records management, or analytical roles
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat Professional
* Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
* Ability to manage a high-volume document workload with consistency
* Strong organizational and analytical skills

Nice to Have (Not Required)

* Familiarity with ADA / WCAG accessibility standards
* Experience using CommonLook or similar accessibility tools

Additional Details

* Certifications are not required
* Formal training will be provided
* Initial 5-month contract with strong likelihood of extension
* Local Tampa candidates only (due to collaboration and compliance requirements)
