Director of Content Design

The Director of Content Design leads the strategic vision, operational excellence, and practice maturity of content design across Humana’s Consumer Digital products. This leader sets the direction for how Humana communicates in digital channels, ensuring our voice is clear, inclusive, and consistently aligned to our purpose. You will guide a high performing team of content designers who partner closely with Experience Design, Product, Engineering, Compliance, Clinical, Marketing, and Brand teams to bring Humana’s voice to life across digital experiences. This role reports to the AVP of Content Development and plays a critical part in elevating content design as a strategic driver of member outcomes and business value. Key responsibilities include strategic vision and content leadership, team leadership and talent development, championing Humana’s voice, cross-functional partnership, content systems and governance, insight-driven content strategy, and operational excellence. Required qualifications include 10+ years of experience in UX content design or related fields, 5+ years leading teams, expertise in health literacy, plain language, and accessibility, proven experience with content systems, and a relevant degree. This is a full-time, remote position with occasional travel. The pay range is $201,600 - $277,200 per year, with bonus eligibility and comprehensive benefits.
