Job Description:
Keystone Consulting is seeking a dedicated and experienced ADA Digital Accessibility Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring our digital products and platforms comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and other relevant accessibility standards. This role involves conducting accessibility audits, providing recommendations for remediation, and collaborating with development and design teams to implement accessible solutions.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct accessibility audits of websites, web applications, and mobile applications using various tools and methodologies.
- Identify and document accessibility issues based on WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) and ADA standards.
- Provide clear and actionable recommendations for remediation to development, design, and content teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accessibility is integrated into the design and development lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain accessibility best practices documentation and training materials.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest accessibility standards, guidelines, and technologies.
- Perform user testing with individuals with disabilities to gather feedback and validate solutions.
- Advocate for accessibility within the organization and promote a culture of inclusivity.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven experience in digital accessibility, preferably with a focus on ADA compliance.
- Strong understanding of WCAG 2.1 AA or AAA guidelines.
- Proficiency with accessibility testing tools (e.g., WAVE, axe, screen readers like JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver).
- Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and how they relate to accessibility.
- Familiarity with assistive technologies and their use by people with disabilities.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to translate technical accessibility requirements into understandable terms for non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with content management systems (CMS) and their accessibility implications is a plus.
- Experience in conducting accessibility training is a plus.
