Document Accessibility Remediation Specialist / ADA & WCAG Compliance Analyst

Remote - Contract - Columbia, SC

Required:

- 7-12 years of experience in document accessibility testing and remediation
- 3+ years Microsoft Word WCAG 2.1 AA remediation (styles, headings, alt text, reading order)
- 3+ years PDF WCAG 2.1 AA remediation (tagging, logical structure, forms, links)
- 3+ years of experience with accessibility testing tools
- Ability to research laws, analyze policies and procedures, and interpret complex regulations
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Problem-solving solutions to bring SCJB into compliance
- Ability to collaborate with diverse teams across the organization
- Proficiency with compliance management software and accessibility tools
- Manage sensitive information and situations
- Ability to train staff on creating compliant documents
- Microsoft Word (styles, headings, alt text, reading order)
- PDF (tagging, logical structure, forms, links)

Preferred Skills

- Experience with court forms or orders
- UX compliance
- CPACC
- IAAP ADS certification
- Appropriate education and work experience accepted

- ADA / Section 508 Accessibility
- WCAG 2.1 AA & WCAG2ICT Compliance
- Word Remediation (styles, headings, alt text, reading order)
- PDF Remediation (tagging, structure tree, forms, links)
