Accessibility Analyst

Position Details: • Job Title: Digital Standards & Web Accessibility Analyst • Location: Lansing, MI (Hybrid) • Duration: 2+ Years Contract (Potential for Extension) Work Schedule: • Hybrid (Non-Negotiable) • Onsite: Tuesday & Wednesday • Remote: Monday, Thursday & Friday • Candidates must reside within 90 miles of Lansing, MI at the time of submission. Interview Process: • In-Person Interview Required (No Exceptions) • Expected to be a one-round panel interview with the Hiring Manager and team members • Additional round may be conducted if needed Key Responsibilities: • Conduct manual and automated accessibility testing. • Test accessibility using assistive technologies and screen readers. • Validate compliance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards. • Review branding and user experience standards. • Perform testing across desktop and mobile platforms. • Document findings and prepare detailed review reports. • Present review results to application support teams and stakeholders. • Collaborate with internal teams to improve accessibility review processes. • Perform additional duties as assigned. Required Qualifications: • Some college education. • Minimum 1 year of experience testing applications for digital accessibility. • Minimum 1 year of experience working with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG). • Strong knowledge of WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards. • Hands-on experience using assistive technologies such as: * JAWS * NVDA * VoiceOver * TalkBack Preferred Qualifications: • 3+ years of digital accessibility testing experience. • WCAG or accessibility-related certification. • Previous State Government or Public Sector experience.
