The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Braille transcription, accessibility testing, and assistive technologies. **Key Responsibilities** - Read, write, and interpret Braille (Grade 1 & Grade 2) with high accuracy - Perform Braille transcription and proofreading of documents - Conduct accessibility testing for digital products, including: - Windows applications - Websites - Documents (PDF, Word, etc.) - Work with assistive technologies such as: - Screen readers (e.g., Narrator, JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver) - Refreshable Braille displays - Ensure compliance with accessibility standards like WCAG guidelines - Validate keyboard navigation and non-mouse interactions **Mandatory Skills** - Proficiency in Braille reading and writing (Grade 1 & Grade 2) - Hands-on experience in Braille transcription and proofreading - Experience in accessibility testing of digital platforms - Familiarity with assistive technologies (screen readers, Braille displays) - Strong understanding of WCAG and accessibility principles **Qualifications:** - Bachelors degree in engineering and related field. **Seniority Level** - Mid-Senior level **Industry** - IT Services and IT Consulting **Employment Type** - Contract **Job Functions** - Business Development - Consulting
