Job Description
Our client is seeking a dedicated Accessibility Tester to join their team. As an Accessibility Tester, you will be part of the Quality Assurance department supporting diverse product testing initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a passion for creating inclusive digital environments, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Accessibility Tester Location: REMOTE What's the Job? - Conduct comprehensive accessibility testing across multiple platforms including Windows Desktop, Mac Desktop, Web Browsers, Android, and iOS mobile platforms. - Utilize screen reader software such as JAWS, VoiceOver, TalkBack, and NVDA to evaluate accessibility features. - Apply knowledge of W3C WCAG v2.1 and v2.2, Section 508 standards, and EN 301 549 standards to ensure compliance. - Identify accessibility issues and communicate findings effectively through detailed reports to developers and stakeholders. - Support continuous improvement of accessibility standards and testing processes within the organization. What's Needed? - Minimum of 3 years experience in accessibility testing with a proven track record on multiple products. - Strong understanding of W3C WCAG v2.1 and v2.2, and Section 508 standards; knowledge of EN 301 549 is a plus. - Extensive experience with UI/UX accessibility testing across various platforms and devices. - Proficiency in using accessibility testing tools including color contrast analyzers, code inspection tools, and screen readers. - Excellent report writing skills to effectively communicate accessibility issues and recommendations.
