Job Description

**Company Description** Inkable Docs supports schools, universities, and organizations in checking, fixing, and documenting accessibility issues wherever documents are created and shared. The platform integrates with Google Docs, Slides, Sheets, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and major LMS environments such as Canvas, D2L Brightspace, Blackboard Ultra, and Moodle. Teams use Inkable Docs to identify accessibility barriers, apply AI-assisted fixes, and generate evidence for WCAG, Section 508, and PDF/UA review. The company’s mission is to make document accessibility faster, easier, and more consistent while preserving the human judgment needed for high-quality accessibility outcomes. **Role Description** The Campus Accessibility Coordinator is a contract, remote role responsible for helping academic institutions improve the accessibility of their document and course content workflows. In this role, you will collaborate with campus stakeholders to assess current document practices, identify accessibility gaps, and recommend practical improvements aligned with institutional policies and standards. You will provide guidance, training, and resources to faculty, staff, and support teams on using Inkable Docs tools and related platforms to meet WCAG, Section 508, and PDF/UA requirements. Day-to-day tasks include hosting virtual consultations, conducting remote workshops and office hours, preparing accessible training materials, and documenting campus-specific accessibility procedures. You will also gather feedback, share usage insights with the Inkable Docs team, and help refine best practices that support sustainable accessibility across campuses. **Qualifications** - Strong Communication skills, including the ability to explain technical accessibility concepts in clear, inclusive language for diverse audiences. - Demonstrated Customer Service experience supporting faculty, staff, students, or organizational partners with empathy, patience, and responsiveness. - Background in Education or Instructional Support, ideally within higher education, academic technology, disability services, or learning support environments. - Experience in Training and facilitation, including leading virtual workshops, office hours, or one-on-one coaching sessions. - Curriculum Development skills for creating accessible guides, job aids, and training resources tailored to different user roles. - Working knowledge of digital accessibility principles (e.g., WCAG, Section 508, PDF/UA) and familiarity with LMS and productivity tools such as Canvas, Google Workspace, and Microsoft 365. - Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple campus engagements in a remote environment. - Commitment to equity, inclusion, and accessible learning experiences for all learners; experience collaborating with disability or accessibility offices is a plus. - Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Education, Instructional Design, Accessibility, Rehabilitation, Communications) or equivalent professional experience.
