JOB SUMMARY
Design accessibility-based products and features that directly impact the consumer experience. Involved in leading technical solutions. Subject matter expert for multiple programs/systems.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Actively and consistently supports all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.

Shape the direction of QA testing plans that both meet business goals and ensure a positive userexperience that meets standards.

Lead the UI/UX and developments teams to support standards, define application interactions, and perform usability and Accessibility testing.

Work within cross-functional team to understand expectations, priorities, and necessary deliverables.

Develop, modify, enhance, and implement design ideas, along with fellow team members.

Lead brainstorming sessions, and wireframe and design reviews to help solve problems.

Test and diagnose complex issues and evaluates, recommends, and executes the best resolution.

Ensure alignment of the implementation of Accessibility standards across various products and platforms.

Mentor and coach Designers and Developers on proper standards

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
Strong understanding of WCAG 2.1 Levels A and AA.
Brings proven Accessibility knowledge and methods to digital applications from concept to launch.
Strong knowledge of platform specific nomenclature.
Fully engaged and positive member of a collaborative team.
Extensive experience with creating highly-detailed annotated wireframes, user flows, and process flows within consumer applications.
Ability to sketch and generate big-picture ideas for early-stage Accessibility work.
Demonstrates strong time management skills and the ability to be self-directed when needed.
Demonstrates strong client (presentation) communication skills and the ability to present and sell ideas to various audiences (technical and non-technical).
Extensive experience with project estimation.
Extensive experience with planning and facilitating user research and usability tests with disabled users.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent analytical and troubleshooting abilities.

Education
Bachelor's Degree in Design / HCI / Related Field, or equivalent real world experience

Related Work Experience Number of Years
Accessibility experience, with at least 60% focus on testing 7+
Experience with industry standard Accessibility technologies 4-5
(such as screen-readers, screen-magnifiers, speech-dictation, etc.)

The pay for this position has a minimum of $96,100.00. The actual salary offer may be higher as we carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience and location. Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as bonuses.

Salary Range: $96000 - $96000
