WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Our Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion (DEI) function is seeking a Principal, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, Accessibility Policy and Programs professional to join our team! Ideally, the successful candidate is a leader and subject matter expert with deep experience in accessibility policies and disability inclusion program development.

In this role, you will develop internal accessibility policies, build accountability methodologies, conduct data analysis, provide regular reporting, and recommend program development to ensure the long-term success of the Accessibility Center of Excellence. The role will shape and drive the company's accessibility and disability inclusion practices in support of employees and consumers with disabilities, everywhere they live and work.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH:

In this highly collaborative role, you'll work across the Nike enterprise, partnering with HR, legal, marketing, communication, events, and brand functions. This collaboration is in service of developing scalable, repeatable processes bringing inclusivity for people with disabilities including their families, friends, and caregivers.

The Principal, DEI, Accessibility Policy and Programs will report to the Sr. Director of Accessibility in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and drive initiatives across functions and task forces with consistency and coordination across all Nike, Inc. brands. This is an individual contributor position that requires the ability to influence decisions and drive execution at all levels of the organization.

The Principal, DEI, Accessibility Policy and Programs will report to the Sr. Director of Accessibility in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and drive initiatives across functions and task forces with consistency and coordination across all Nike, Inc. brands. This is an individual contributor position that requires the ability to influence decisions and drive execution at all levels of the organization.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON:

Develop, socialize, and implement strategic accessibility and disability inclusion policies and programs that meet the needs of various business units.
Provide innovative and creative solutions by analyzing current state processes, policies and practices for ongoing accessibility initiatives.
Identify gaps and develop strategic programming to mature accessibility across the company that supports policy adherence through data analysis and trend identification.
Develop appropriate learning and development to support accessibility policies and programs. Subsequently, support launch, translation, and reporting on metrics with Nike's learning and development team.
Collaborate with our Diversity Business Initiative team to identify, onboard, and support diverse and disability-owned businesses.
Partner with procurement, digital accessibility, and legal to support the delivery of accessible products and services from external vendors.
Build collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams to understand business priorities and needs, incorporating diverse perspectives within the Accessibility Center of Excellence.
Collaborate with the DEI team to scale programs across the enterprise.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING:

Bachelor's degree in a related field, or in lieu of a degree, have a combination of relevant experience, education, and training with 10+ years of professional experience in accessibility policy, communications, marketing, and/or organizational management.
8+ years of professional experience in accessibility, policy, communications, marketing, and/or brand management.
Demonstrated experience leading programming and/or strategies for accessibility.
Deep knowledge and understanding of disability laws and regulations and accessible policy creation.
Strong program management skills with the ability to simultaneously lead multiple work streams.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to effect change within a matrixed, agile organization.
Excellent verbal and written communication, especially when discussing the nuances of accessibility to technical and non-technical audiences.
