This position supports the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) CIO-T Accessibility Office mission in support of Section 508 Policy, advocating and overseeing implementation of Electronic and Information Technology to ensure it is consistent with policy and accessible to people with disabilities.

This position advises, assists, leads, manages, works and/or supports IT Accessibility Program (Section 508) Business Operations with policy, process, procedure development, review, coordination, adjudication, promulgation, communication, and compliance.

Currently ManTech is seeking a motivated, career, and customer-oriented Section 508/Accessibility IT professional to join our team in Springfield, Virginia.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Advise and Assist IT Accessibility Program Manager in fulfilling responsibilities IAW the IT Accessibility Program and NGAI 8400.4 to include the following: o Lead, Manage, Work, and Support, IT Accessibility Program business functions

Guidance in establishing policies, processes, and programs to enable Section 508 Compliance
Provide oversight and governance to ensure compliance with 508 standards
Establish priorities to maximize achievement against compliance goals
Maintain broad awareness of compliance requirements, processes and objectives through executive briefings, training programs and internal communication tools
Develop templates to support compliance, reporting and learning
Maintain close awareness of Section 508 and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) guidance and direction coming from GSA, the U.S. Access Board, and other federal organizations
Assist in establishing policies, processes, and programs to enable IT Accessibility and Section 508 Compliance across the enterprise.
Provides compliance guidance to support technology planning, design, development, testing and implementation activities.
Interpret and provide guidance on Section 508 and related accessibility laws, regulations, and standards.
Provide guidance and support on the development, procurement, maintenance, and use of accessible IT

Required Skills

15 or more years of experience in a distinct functional or cross-functional area.
Graduate degree or equivalent experience with a related field
Ability to lead implementation of new processes.
Ability to provide government executives recommendations on process improvement implementation activities.
Expert knowledge of WCAG and Section 508 Standards in support of US Federal projects.
Expert knowledge of and in-depth experience, skill, and expertise working and supporting IT policy, development, review, coordination, adjudication, rescissions, and gaps IAW Section 508 processes and procedures.
Skilled in developing policy plans for implementation
Ability to provide clear guidance at all levels on Section 508.
Ability to develop and deliver guidance and guidelines for compliance with federal standards.
Expert knowledge of and ability to apply best practices for IT Accessibility and Section 508 Compliance.
Ability to conduct Section 508 compliance reviews and utilize maturity models to assess compliance.
Ability to develop IT Accessibility Program Metrics

Desired Skills

Ability to work and collaborate across IC agencies and the Federal Government.
Knowledge of and be able to implement IT Accessibility Compliance metrics
Knowledge of and ability to perform IT Accessibility gap analysis and accessibility barrier analysis
Skilled in the use of MS Project to develop IT Accessibility project management plans.
ITIL, Six Sigma, CMMI, and/or ISO certification.

Security Clearance Requirements:

TS/SCI with ability to obtain and maintain a Poly

Physical Requirements:

Able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
Constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a copier, scanner, and computer printer.
Frequently communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
