Section 508 Compliance Specialist

"Ensures all Social Security Administration learning systems, applications, and content comply with Section 508 accessibility requirements. Conducts accessibility audits, develops remediation plans, provides accessibility guidance to development teams, and maintains compliance documentation while advocating for inclusive design practices.

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Accessibility, or related field with 5+ years of federal accessibility experience
- Certification in accessibility compliance (CPACC, WAS, or equivalent) and knowledge of federal accessibility laws
- Expert knowledge of Section 508 standards, WCAG guidelines, and federal accessibility testing methodologies
- Experience with federal accessibility evaluation tools, remediation procedures, and compliance documentation

Understanding of federal procurement accessibility requirements and government accessibility implementation standards

**Clearance:** Must be able to Obtain Public Trust Clearance.
