Your Impact:

This role will create, and manage, a Digital Accessibility program that ensures that our internal tools, documents, surveys, processes, and policies are accessible to employees with disabilities.

Specifically, you will:

Create an internal digital accessibility audit program and processes

Conduct accessibility audits with internal teams who own tools and processes used by large sets of employees

Identify inaccessible documents, applications, processes, and policies, sharing best practices for accessibility

Create a tracking system to log, report, and escalate accessibility audit findings

Effectively Communicate program execution status, key accomplishments, and findings

Update and amplify the Accessible Virtual Experience Guidelines to ensure continued digital accessibility

Learn from peers and share best practices, communicating digital accessibility wins

The Person Most Successful in this Role Will:

Have experience with industry standards relating to digital accessibility

Be able to create and maintain relationships with business and technical experts through the company

Be a great communicator. In particular, you should excel at explaining compliance requirements to diverse audiences (across varying technical and business backgrounds) in a way that fosters understanding and ownership

Have a commitment to, understanding of, and sensitivity to the multiple facets of disability inclusion and accessibility

Have the know-how to track and report on program metrics

Evangelize accessible design and development, both within Salesforce and with our vendors.

Create a vendor selection strategy to ensure technology vendors are committed to the latest WCAG standard.

Desired Skills:

IAAP Web Accessibility Specialist (WAS) Certification

JAWS Certification

Experience with a collaboration suite such as Google Apps

Experience in running, and improving audit programs at scale

Strong collaboration in a highly matrixed organization, with tightly connected partnerships across multiple stakeholder groups, and with excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills

Role Requirements:

5+ years digital accessibility experience

3+ years of audit or program management experience
