What will I be doing?
As a Mobile User Acceptance Tester (internal title: Senior Associate Quality Engineer) at Hilton, you will be responsible for assuring the quality of Hilton's web, mobile, and/or team member platforms. You will make sure Web and Mobile applications are ADA compliant and met industry standards to provide equal access and equal opportunity to people with diverse abilities.

Design and write web and mobile web manual scripts that run tests on new and/or existing software/apps in an agile environment
Build, maintain, implement, and update the product testing strategy including running manual tests and advising on the automation framework
Test products in all phases of its life cycle
Understand and implement automation test strategy
Coordinate manual and automated testing activities
Collaborate with engineers to achieve quality levels in products
Influence the use of testability during design and development phases
Participate in designing and code reviews
Find opportunities for automation within development processes
Identify bugs and quality issues
Install applications and databases relevant to automation
Participate in functioning processes and testing of products.
Responsible for Accessibility (A11Y) testing on multi-functional channels
Ensure compliance of quality processes and standards to include reporting

What are we looking for?
The success in this role will demonstrate itself through the following attributes and skills:

Ability to collaborate with other business units to understand how automation can improve workflow
Ability to learn new technologies and expand skills
Possess organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
Ability to mentor Junior testers
Experience in testing the application with A11Y tools like AXE and JAWS
Work independently without significant oversite

To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:

Three (3) years of professional experience in technology or a related field
Three (3) years of experience as a manual tester for native mobile applications
Experience with Charles Proxy or similar debugging tools
Additional Requirements: 10% travel may be required

It would be useful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree, or Associate’s Degree plus 2+ years of Technology related experience, or High School Degree/GED plus 3+ years of Technology related experience
Five (5) + years of professional experience in technology or a related field
Hands on experience testing mobile applications via test devices
Working knowledge of XCode for iOS and/or Android Studio for Android
